Becoming the best version of yourself comes with a lot of goodbyes

Your intuition exists to protect you, not to win debates.

If something consistently drains you, confuses you, or leaves you feeling smaller than you were before, you’re allowed to walk away. You don’t have to wait until it becomes unbearable. You don’t have to collect evidence. You don’t have to convince anyone else that your feelings are valid.

This applies to relationships, work environments, friendships, habits, and even versions of yourself you’ve outgrown. Staying in situations that give you bad vibes often teaches you to ignore your inner voice. Over time, that disconnection costs more than the discomfort of leaving ever will.

Walking away doesn’t make you weak. It doesn’t make you dramatic. And it doesn’t mean you failed. Sometimes it simply means you listened. Trusting yourself is a quiet kind of courage. It’s choosing peace over approval. It’s understanding that clarity often comes after distance, not before.
